Liz Earle cleanser hot cloth

I recently won this lovely item from an unknown company. I dont remember who i won it from but hey ho, a win is a win :D
I decided to try it out last night and see how it compares to my normal clean and clear cleanser.

Very impressed.

I think I am in love. I only left it on my skin for about 2-3 minutes and i was already pleased with the result. My skin felt soooo smooth afterwards, even the next day.

It comes with a muslin cloth or a 'hot cloth' as its called in the pack which you run under hot water and wipe off. Simple.

It has a lovely fragrance before and after application. I personally thought it smelt like an aloe vera/cucumber fragrance which was very pleasant.

It had a nice creamy texture to it but once you rubbed it in,it soaked into my skin very fast though that could be because my skin is ever so dry and any moisture put onto it,its like YAY CREAAAAM.

This product retails at £15.50 from the Liz Earle website.

I LOVE SHOEEEEEES

I have a thing for Iron Fists. I was never one for shoes, I would have been happy with a pair of cheap trainers from primark until I discovered Iron Fists.
I recently purchased these beauties :) which are called Buns n Roses Oxford. Soooo cute and perfect for an alternative summer sandal.
I bought them new via Ebay but you can purchase them on the Iron Fist website or other online retailers. Im not sure if theyre available instore, I've never seen them but our local shoe shop has limited supply :(
I hope to slowly build up my shoe collection. Im also fond of Irregular choice shoes aswell but cant afford those at the moment UNLESS I manage to get some off ebay hehe. Xx

Smart polish removal pads

When I was at college we had the lady from smart polish who camme in and spoke about their products. She showed us these removal pads which i thought was a handy idea, theres probably already versions out there but i thought id try them.

They were on special offer. £13 for 200 pads but they were buy one get one free so it was £13 for 400. Great deal i thought.

The product themselves are very handy and easy to use. You rip the top off and inside is a pad which has been soaked in acetone, then you place it on you finger, rip the sticky strip off and wait 5-10mins and remove the gel. It saves alot of mess and time fiddling around with bottles and stuff. Plus theres less risk of spilling on a clients furniture, major bonus as I am very clumsy.

I liked the product and found it to be a good investment. I also purchased some smart polish gels which i shall be reviewing soon.
You can purchase this product from the website www.smartpolish.co.uk or from beauty shows.
Thank you for reading. Happy blogging. Xx

Essential Nail training hand review

I bought my training hand off ebay for £20. They retail for about £69.99 I think. So mine was a bargain. It came with a few replacement nails which you can purchase off ebay or from beauty sites for roughly £7-8.
Its a really great item if you want to practise acrylics, gel extensions or nail art as the nails pop off as and when you need them.
It has a clasp so it can attatch to the table or flat surface. It is also flexible so it allows you to adjust the height or see what you are doing :) the joints are also  moveable so it gives you the effect of a real hand.
I would definately recommend one. Perhaps not for the full price, i would shop around like I did and see if you can get one cheaper.
10/10 :)

China Glaze 202 innocence review

Im back :D finally. I have been so busy that I have not been able to blog. Please accept my apologies, I will make it up to you all.
Ive decided to do a review on my new China Glaze Innocence polish.
My personal opinion is "rubbish" I was very disappointed in this as previous China Glaze products I have tried are great overall. I found this to be very streaky on application but that couldve been due to the tiny brush.
Another problem i found was that it took ages to dry which meant it kept snagging or ended up with inprints on the nail. I had to do 3 layers because the other two applications were thin and streaky, because it wouldnt dry properly, i went to put the top coat on and it pulled the one layer and it looked awful so i removed it.
I think this product would be nice for a french manicure :)
I have applied one layer of the innocence just to show you the colour (which is hard to see) I will take more pictures and apply more layers so you can see the difference when i charge the phone.
I purchased this product from the China Glaze stall at the Beauty Show NEC for £3.90

Check out my new pjs

Apologise for the late blog update :( i have been super busy but check out my new pyjamas :D i was browsing in Primark and happened to stumble upon these beauties.
The lion king is my all time favourite film and i think i nearly wet myself when i saw these haha.
The top retailed at £5 and the bottoms were £8 :)
Theyre perfect for any disney fan and i would be happy to receive these as a gift :) i wouldnt mind a few duplicates. X

Sally Hansen cuticle remover

I saw this whilst on one of my regular journeys through B &M so thought i would give it a try.
I thought it was a nice product, it had a pleasant smelt, and felt nice when massaged into the skin. It did start to sting a little bit after application but nothing severe or major and soon settled down.
I would recommend testing it out before using it properly. I think my eczema had something to do with it but i'm not too sure.
It says on the packaging that this products should only be used twice a week. Applied for no longer then 10minutes and washed away with warm water.
I purchased this from B &M and it retailed at £2.99

A few nail art designs

Just having a play around with a few designs.
I will try and upload tutorials as soon as possible :) xx

Rio total body wax kit review

I bought the Rio wax kit the other week and thought i would do a review on it :)
When i read the reviews online they were abit mixed. Some people said it was great, while others said it was rubbish so i was in two minds whether to purchase it or not.
The product itself looks very nice and quite stylish because of the black finish. I prefer it to the white ones you can buy just because it looks nicer. Its alot easier to clean aswell.
It comes with warm wax and hard wax, which also persuaded me to buy it so i didnt have to buy two different types of waxes or wax pots.
It also comes with some wax strips, wax removal, spatulas and a dvd. The dvd was abit pointless (for me) as it basically just tells you everything thats in the instruction manual.
Set up was really easy as theres two settings to put it on. 1 or 2 :) 2 being the highest.
I chose to try the warm wax first. It took a long time to heat up. Roughly about 50 minutes for a full pot of wax. After it had melted, it took alot of stirring to get the consistency right ready for application.
Once the consistency was right, the product went on smoothly and my client was happy with the results.
One thing i do have to say is that the wax is VERY messy so be careful when doing eyebrows. You can use the wax removal in the kit but i found this to be useless.
Overall i thought the kit was good for the price but the only downside to it would be the fact it takes nearly an hour to heat up, so if you are buying this kit for mobile beauty i would recommend in investing in another brand.

Blueberry muffin - Solutions by Hive shade 29

I love this colour :) it comes out like a deep sea blue rather then a blueberry muffin colour, in my opinion.
Despite being a new item in my collection, i found the varnish to be quite tacky and didnt really apply very smoothly. I did have to reapply a few times to get the varnish looking neat.
I probably wouldnt buy another hive product but because it was cheap i thought id give it a try.
It also takes a while to dry and when it does dry, its very easily marked so unless you are perfectly still and careful then i wouldnt recommend it :(

My poundland bargains

Diy ombre nails - quickie

Here i will show you a quick and easy way to do ombre nails.

All you need are the following
*3 different polishes.
*A sponge.
*top and base coat.

First all you have to do is layer the polishes in a line from darkest to lightest.

Then dab the sponge onto your nail :) If you wanted the colours to stand out more then reapply the polish and repeat.

Here is my attempt :) please ignore the polish around the edge, i have run out of cotton buds :/ oops. I only applied 2 coats but couldve done with 1 more but overall i think the result is fine.

And there you have it. A quick and easy way to do ombre nails. Xx

ORLY HAUTE RED review

I am a big fan of the ORLY range and this one doesn't fail to disappoint me.
This one is called haute red (pronounce in a New York accent :)) It is a lovely deep, blood red and looks beautiful on the nails. Perfect for a night out to the cinema perhaps?

I found this one to be quite long lasting. I managed to go about 4-5 days without chipping, which is quite good for me :) but with the odd touch up could make it last even longer.
This colour is also great if you want to tie it in with some valentine nail art designs or as a background/base colour.
Please feel free to share my blog :) xXx

Nails Inc Hurlingham Park review

Good evening 😀

So here it goes 😄 my first proper blog post. How exciting. Yay.
First I have decided to start off with some nail polish reviews to break myself in gently. Then i will do some tutorials (hopefully over the weekend) on different nail art designs 😗So here we go.

I used a sally hansen double duty top and base coat, which i thought was lovely. The brush size was spot on, im not a fan of these teeny tiny brushes that take ages to paint the nail, this one was quite chunky and filled my nail so the application was quicker and the product dried within seconds of application.
The polish which i used is called Hurlingham Park from Nails Inc which i thought was nice, it looks alot pinker though on my nails then it does on the photo (more like a hot pink) but overall I am pleased with the colour and result. The application took 2 attempts, but it couldve done with a third as it looks abit streaky in the light. So far i havent had any chipping which is always a bonus as alot of polishes that ive used tend too. Stay tuned for more reviews, i hope you enjoyed my first posts :)💅😗 Xx
